Quick Strawberry Pomegranate Smoothie

This is an easy recipe that highlights the flavors of both fruits, and it's perfect for a healthy breakfast or afternoon treat.

​Ingredients:​

1 cup frozen strawberries​

½ cup pomegranate arils (seeds)​

1 frozen banana (for extra creaminess, optional)​

½ cup liquid (water, juice, or your preferred milk—almond, dairy, etc.)

​1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)​

Instructions:​Add all the ingredients to your blender.

​Start blending on a low speed and gradually increase to high.

​Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.

If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more liquid.

​Pour into a glass and enjoy!​

You can also add a handful of spinach or a tablespoon of flax/chia seeds for an extra nutritional boost.
